With 20 years of experience in health data processing, Epiconcept mobilizes multidisciplinary teams (epidemiology, framework and Data Science) to offer its customers a range of Data Science products or solutions configured according to needs.
In doing so, Epiconcept responds to a growing public health issue: ensuring a better use of electronic personal data. From medical databases, free texts or structured databases, these data have grown exponentially over the years. Their exploitation for the purposes of research must be carried out in strict compliance with the law and ethical considerations on the sharing and ownership of information.
Its Data Science offer covers:
- Analysis of structured databases for epidemiology or biostatistics reports
- Work on unstructured bases, with the benefit of enriching cohorts and studies with environmental, demographic, sociological and semantic data in real time.
- Optimized data notification systems.
Epiconcept collaborates with INSERM on a common project aimed at identifying tweets from people with type 1 diabetes. The goal is to develop an automatic database organised into stress clusters.
A member of the HDI (Healthcare Data Institute), the first international Think Tank dedicated to the useof Big Data in the health sector, Epiconcept takes part in public debate and innovation initiatives on the subject.
Epiconcept is also one of the first laureates of the Health Data Hub for its Deep.piste project, an artificial intelligence project integrated into the e-SIS cancer screening campaign management software.
