The first European Course on intervention epidemiology funded by the European Centre for Prevention and Diseases Control and the Mérieux Foundation was organised by EpiConcept in Veyrier du Lac, France, from 26 January to 13 February 2009. Overall 30 participants from 25 EU countries attended.
