Epiconcept | ICT tools and Epidemiology for Public Health

EpiConcept organise a five day session on Epidata in Jakarta during the short Courses in Data Management and in Basic Statistics planned by the REDI Centre.

This course organized by the ECDC will be delivered by EpiConcept, from 15th February to 5th March 2010.

The course will cover the following topics:

Under the ECDC umbrella EpiConcept is coordinating 11 epidemiological studies aiming at measuring pandemic Influenza vaccine effectiveness in EU.

The partnership involves 18 European member states.

EpiConcept participates in the meeting of the Fondation Mérieux : Current challenges and new methodological approaches to assess vaccine effectiveness and vaccination impact.

The Conference’s strategic objectives include:

The French Institute for Public Health Surveillance faces the Influenza A(H1N1)v pandemic adjusts the surveillance system to the epidemiological situation with Voozaflu.

The ECDC training course "Time Series Analysis: descriptive methods and intoduction to modelling and forecasting" will be organised by Epiconcept in Santorini (Greece), 4-8 may 2009. We expect 23 participants from 18 European countries. 
 

In order to help the eCDC to manage and analyse TESSY data, Epiconcept will organize for eCDC a monthly STATA training. This regular training will be focusing on management aspects, good practices in stata programing and database connectivity.
